Tadd Hiatt, MD
Dr. Tadd Hiatt, MD received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago. He is a former Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine specializing in Gastroenterology at the University of Michigan and certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Hiatt holds an extensive background in clinical practice, academia, and research, serving in various leadership roles.
Throughout his career, Dr. Hiatt has made significant contributions to gastroenterology, including ongoing mentorship of fellows and directing programs aimed at clinical and endoscopic excellence. He has delivered numerous presentations on gastrointestinal topics, such as upper GI bleeding and colon cancer screening, and has been actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring multiple publications on colorectal health, digital ulcer quantitation, disease severity in Crohn’s disease, and specializes in large polyp resections. When he is not at the clinic, teaching or in surgery Dr. Hiatt enjoys traveling, Big 10 football, and spending time with his family.
