Siaka I. Yusuf, MD is originally from Nigeria where he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He then came to the United States to do his Internship and Residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Yusuf then went on to New York to complete his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at State University of New York. He was a Medical Officer at Mutare General Hospital in Zimbabwe as well as an Assistant Clinical Instructor in New York. He is Board-Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He joined Digestive Health Institute in December of 2000.

The receptionist was very nice and helped document my issues for Callie Hart and made an appointment for me. My meeting with Callie was excellent listening to my history and developing a plan and followup for my chronic problem. Callie was a big help discussing my suggested alternative options I posed to her and one option worked for me Thank God. I appreciate Callie being on my care team. She is very competent and caring. I was treated courteously and was ushered in to see the PA fairly quickly. The person who checked my vitals was friendly and efficient. The PA, Don Laird, is very knowledgeable and professional. He listened attentively to me, asked questions, and took copious notes. The person at the desk was also very efficient and friendly. If you are searching for a gastroenterologist, Digestive Health Institute is the place to go. I've been there several times and it's always been a positive experience. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes.
