Margaret Blayney, MD MSt
Dr. Margaret Blayney, MD, MSt received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Virginia Mason Medical Center and a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Indiana University. She previously worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine specializing in Gastroenterology at the University of Michigan, and she is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Blayney has a background in public health and outcomes research before starting her medical career.
Dr Blayney has worked with the Michigan Bowel Control Program at the University of Michigan with an interest in women’s pelvic floor dysfunction. She has taught medical students and held leadership roles in the fellowship program. Outside of work she enjoys gardening, reading, and hiking with her family.
